Photographed a little corner of my home for Oh Joy! Closet & Casa feature, thought I would share more photos here. I like to collect little knick-knacks, they are fun to look at. My favorite thing is the large “b” letterpress block, a birthday gift from my dear friend Summer.

First of all, I hope you had a nice Mother’s Day weekend! On Saturday, my sister, Miss V and I took my mom to Palm Springs and spent a nice afternoon at ACE Hotel. We started off with a nice brunch (bloody mary and fish taco, mmm…), then it was pool time for the rest of the day. Apparently, too much sun can get you sick because by Sunday I was battling with a nasty cold. Instead of Renaissance Faire with Lauryl and Miss V, I ended up being in bed most of the day. While nearly blowing off my nose in bed, Miss V surprised me with a paper flower bouquet she made and read me a good amount of princess stories. The rest of the day was spent making more paper flowers, eating and watching tv re-runs. Happy. :)
