I wanted to be a fashion designer since I was little, but ended up studying art history and graphic design in college, and now I’m a professional photographer.  I love living in arts.  This personal blog is my way of sharing my many interests – arts, designs, fashion, food and travel.  **For my professional photography blog, please visit this link.

Hi Bonnie, I like how you capture your photos. What type of 50mm lens you use. Is it 1.4 or 1.8? Not sure if I’m asking the right question.

hi bonnie..i just discovered your blog and i think it is remarkable. i am an artist living in los angeles and am about to launch a wordpress photo blog…after trying many different themes, i still have yet to find one in which i would be able to display photos side by side, like yours. my question is–do you place the images side by side in photoshop, then load them into the blog…or does the :journalist: theme allow you to places images next to each other?

as i said, your images are fantastic…keep up the good work….

You have a beautiful blog, a beautiful daughter and a beautiful eye through your lens… do you shoot in manual or automatic? i just did a little photography course to try and use my camera better… (500D 50mm lens) and the old man taught all in manual, now people are telling me to use auto… i just want beautiful pictures… i don’t particularly care how they get there! anyway… finding your blog just made my morning at work… THANK YOU!

    Hello Bonnie!

I was curious if I could ask you a quick favor! I’m totally obsessed with your instagram and love the food spots you choose. I’m curious about Portland and have been trying to head down from Vancouver for the last year! I finally have 4 days and would love if you could give me a mini list of your favorite top spots for food and what not or just the area that is the best to hang out in. I know you are probably crazy busy but of you or missV could fill a sister in on the top spots I just gotta see that would be so great! Hope you have a wonderful week. Look forward to hearing from you :)
