When I was visiting Atlanta, I made sure to have some real good and legit bbq. After researching, I decided to go to Heirloom Market BBQ. Wow, this place was packed, which only meant I made the right choice! I ordered the “must have” (according to the lady at the register) – Korean BBQ Pork Sandwich and that was REALLY good! It was spicy, the cole slaw was made with kimchi sauce, but it went well with the mac-n-cheese. Wish I can go back for lunch today!

so funny. I tried both west egg & heirloom bbq that last time I visited my sis in atl. both amazing. did you make it to richard blais’ new hot dog restaurant too?
i grew up in Atlanta and haven’t been there in years. Your photos of the restaurants make me ache for my hometown!
